Sons of Legion New braunfels Concert reviews
stage lighting sucked big time; band was great
The event coordinators made a questionable decision to direct dazzling lights that blinked constantly at the audience from behind the Sons of Legion. It was incredibly distracting and difficult to focus on the band or the music due to the blinding lights, even at the back of the lawn. I can't comprehend why the lights were aimed at the audience's eyes, unless a "creative" lighting expert wanted to steal the spotlight with a continuous stream of bright light during each song, overshadowing the band's performance. If the intrusive lights were removed, the show would have been excellent. I won't return to this venue until the distracting light display is stopped.
